MIDWIVES ASSOCIATION OF FLORIDA

The Midwives Association of Florida (MAF) is a professional organization that supports and promotes the practice of midwifery in the state of Florida. MAF works to advance midwifery as a profession by providing resources, education, and advocacy for midwives and their clients. The association also advocates for better access to quality maternity care, including birth centers and home births. MAF has over 1,000 members, including midwives and students of midwifery.

There are currently six birth centers in Florida that are members of MAF.
